Commission Process Questions
How do I pay for my commission piece?
A 50% deposit is required upfront, with the remaining 50% due upon completion. Payment can be made by card.
What does the commission process look like?
1. Submit your form
Fill out the form, and I’ll get back to you within 5 business days.
2. Pay the deposit
Once we’ve confirmed the details, I’ll email you an invoice for a 50% deposit, payable by card.
3. Review the compostion
After receiving your deposit, I’ll create and share a composition idea for your review.
4. Approve and paint
Once you’ve shared your feedback and approved the composition, I’ll begin painting. You’ll receive progress photos and final images for feedback and approval upon completion.
5. Final payment and shipping
Once final comments have been made and the remaining 50% is paid. I’ll carefully pack your piece, purchase full insurance, and ship it to you.
How long will it take to complete my commission?
I will provide an estimated completion date once we discuss your commission. On average, the turnaround time is approximately one month. Depending on the size and complexity of the piece, completion may take up to two months. Smaller works are typically finished sooner.
Can my commission request be denied?
Please note that not all commissions will be accepted. If I feel the project isn’t the right fit for my style or skills, or if the request is inappropriate, I may decline.
